A lesson from Taylor Swift and Beyoncé

Hello Reader,

My kids and I were talking about how so many of Taylor Swift's and Beyoncé's songs aren't that good.

Sorry if you're a fan!

We love their music, but they have quite a few songs that just aren't that good.

But those that were hits?

Those became huge and made them the megastars they are today.

I recently ran a workshop that didn't do as well as I'd expected.

But one great thing that happened?

I got fantastic feedback and data points to improve on the next one. Maybe I'll let it evolve into something else.

Sometimes what you expect to happen just doesn't. Even megastars experience that.

And if they had let the many bad songs or critics stop them from writing their next hit, we'd never have 'Crazy in Love' or 'Blank Space'.

This is how you become a megastar in your own life.

You keep going, doing the thing you love, even when you've got a dud every once in a while.

See you next week!

What if your sensitivity isn't a weakness but a superpower? What if your intuition isn't 'soft' but your competitive advantage? What if your desire for meaningful work isn't 'unrealistic' but exactly what the...

Reader, Here's a stat that stopped me in my tracks: 73% of working mothers are planning a career change within the next 12 months. But here's what the research doesn't tell you: Most of them will make the same mistake I made for years - they'll change their job, not their approach. Different company, same exhaustion. New role, same feeling that something's missing. What if I told you the women who actually create careers they love aren't just changing jobs - they're changing how they make...

The Weekly Newsletter CAREER COACH FOR WORKING MOMS I've always been the person who makes career decisions that look crazy from the outside. Pay cut for a smaller role? ✅ Leaving stable jobs for unknown opportunities? ✅ Following gut instincts over spreadsheet logic? ✅ People thought I was either brave or reckless. Turns out, I was just being myself. Last week I discovered Human Design - basically a personality system that creates your 'user manual for life' based on your birth details....
